Emissions reporting rarely fails at the framework. It fails in the handover.
The sustainability team commits to a number. The facilities and energy teams are asked for the data behind it. Procurement chases suppliers who measure differently, or do not measure at all. Somewhere in the middle sits a spreadsheet nobody fully trusts but everybody relies on.
